Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan

 The Archdiocesan Pastoral Assembly was held on the following four Saturdays, from 9:00AM to 4:00 PM on the following dates: 9 November 1996, 16 November 1996, 30 November 1996 and 7 December 1996. It was held at the “Pangasinan Village Inn” in Calasiao, Pangasinan. There were more than 200 participants to the assembly. They came by representation from the following nine sectors: Parishes and Chaplaincies, Catholic Schools and Seminaries, Archdiocesan Organizations and Movements, Religious Sisters and Clergy, and the Youth.

The items of the Agenda of the Assembly were the following: Archdiocesan Commission on the Clergy, Archdiocesan Commission on the Laity, Archdiocesan Commission on Community Apostolate, Archdiocesan Manual on Basic Ecclesial Communties, Parish Pastoral Councils of Vicariates I, II, III and IV, Parochial Board on Church Temporalities, Pastoral Stations, Lay Ministries, Assignment Policies, Clergy Standard Compensation System, System of Church Support and Celrgy Retirement Plan.

The Decree of Promulgation was given by Archbishop Oscar V. Cruz, DD on 3 May 1997, on the Feast of Sts. Philip and James, the Apostles.
