Binmaley Welcomes 424th Town Fiesta Celebration

Starting on January 24 to February 2, 2014, the town of Binmaley celebrates its 424th founding anniversary with two theater plays entitled:“P.S I Love You,” and “Papuri at Pasasalamat sa Panginoon.”

The second day paved way for the annual Sigay Festival and Kalutan ed Dalan which was attended by the townspeople and those from neighboring towns. As always, Binmaley is proud for their perennial feat.

Different pageants and competitions were also highlighted such as the: Fun Run; Cycling Event; Seafood Cookfest; Battle of the Brains; Battle of the Bands; Street Dancing; Ms. Gay; and Bb. Binmaley Beauty Pageant.

His Excellency, Most Reverend Socrates B. Villegas, D.D., Archbishop of Lingayen-Dagupan, solemnized the closing ceremony of the town’s merriment on February 2 by presiding the Mass at Our Lady of Purification Parish. His message was brief and simple: “Of all the parishioners in Pangasinan, you should be the purest.” Archbishop Villegas’ homily was about waiting to be purified, meeting Jesus to be pure, and going to purify others.
